Haemorrhoids, varicose veins, swollen feet, vaginal inflammation and white discharge, vomiting, difficulty moving, back pain, insomnia … I know, nobody wants to listen to this, but that’s how a conversation between two future moms looks like when they share advice on what helps with certain problems.
Publicly, pregnancy is romanticised, the problems are kept silent, because all of us wish to be superwomen, proud, strong, happy, untouchable … without any problems. But when the doors close and the phone rings, it all comes flooding out and the advice goes on and on. Thank god that it’s like this.
But there are so many women who don’t have such support as I do, who are alone with problems they don’t want to tell anyone about because they wish to be perfect, like our culture taught them they should be and that it is expected of them. This article is meant for all these women, to help them solve a smaller or bigger pregnancy problem.
